Underworld Temptation Remastered by Mukankakuna

Late new here (I did not update this blog since a long time): A faneditor Mukankakuna released in april a high definition (1080p) of my fanedit Underworld Temptation. He asked my agreement, I gave it to him and I was pleased with the result. So check it out! You can read reviews of the original version at IFDB and you can check the page for the new version here The fanedit itself should probably be available at fanedit.info

LV 426 is (edit: well was) here!

LV 426 Fanedit from TMBTM on Vimeo.

Find it now at fanedit.info (not on vimeo anymore, sorry) This is a fanedit of Prometheus with the goal to turn the planet LV 223 into LV 426 in order to make it a proper prequel to the first Alien movie. So this fanedit is not meant to be seen with Alien Convenant. Most of the annoying aspects of the original movie (in my opinion) are now removed and/or changed a bit. - New Lenght 93 minutes. - 40 minutes are cut. - 9 minutes are added. - Including about 1 minute of new special effects here and there (some invisibles, some you should see...)

Two Glorious Bastards by CBB is now on Vimeo

In the last article you watched Harmonica, by TMBTM, a fanedit of Once Upon a Time in the West. This is the second fanedit of The Ugly West project. TWO GLORIOUS BASTARDS by CBB: It all started with the German title of the original THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY, which is 2 GLORREICHE HALUNKEN (translation: Two Glorious Bastards). Now why the German distributors decided for such an odd title change is unknown, but it inspired CBB to drop THE BAD from his edit and to make things more fun, he also decided to try to remove every bit of the famous and awesome Morricone soundtrack and replace it with Johnny Cash. While the removal of THE BAD was not that hard, even though it required to drop some of the most famous scenes in Western history (e.G.the cemetery duel), replacing the score was a close to impossible task, because the music is deeply woven into the original sound and cannot be just separated. Using various complicated techniques and spending months on the audio recreation, CBB managed to give the fanedit an entirely new atmosphere, not better than the original, but highly entertaining and very different from the original. Each Johnny Cash song was carefully chosen to fit to both the atmosphere and the contents of the scene, in which it was used. Every song was filtered to better represent the 1960s audio quality of the original sound. In the end almost 50% of the new audio is a replacement of the original audio, using bits and pieces from the original, some other movies and sound effect collections.

Harmonica is now streaming on Vimeo

Harmonica is one of the two fanedits from The Ugly West project. I made a fanedit of Once Upon A Time In The West and faneditor CBB made one for The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. My fanedit called Harmonica is 1h11m and ccompletely cuts the character of Jason Robards. The goal was to keep the essential of Once Upon A Time In The West and present it in a simple and more shorter movie. Order of some scenes are changed, alternate music are added here and there, some scenes now have another meaning than in the orginal movie, etc. The Goal was not to make this masterpiece a "better" movie, nor to completely change the story. It was more a fun exercice of fanediting than anything else. It was difficult but fun to do, I hope you'll like it. The second fanedit (made by CBB), called Two Glorious Bastards, will be streaming at Vimeo next week and i'll make a new article on my blog for it too. Enjoy.
